    At Freeport-McMoRan, we provide full transparency into our hiring process from the moment you begin your search.  You'll receive email notification upon receipt of your application and throughout the process.  You also can log into your Candidate Profile anytime to check status online.  Learn more about our hiring process and what you can expect as you pursue the opportunity to live the Freeport Edge.

Online Application

You have found open positions that interest you - it's time to apply!  Simply create and/or sign into your Candidate Profile and Search Jobs to apply for a position or view other opportunities.  Some positions may require a Digital Interview Video as part of the application submittal.

Application Review

After you apply online, our Recruitment team will review your application to ensure it meets all required job qualifications.

Interview

If your application meets the required qualifications, our Recruitment team may initiate a pre-employment assessment, phone interview, Digital Video Interview or in-person interview.  A background check will be conducted after a successful interview.

Hiring Decision & Offer

A hiring decision will be made after all candidate interviews and background checks are complete.  If being offered a position, you will receive an offer letter via email requiring your digital signature using DocuSign.

On-Boarding

If you accept our employment offer, the Human Resources team will contact you with various on-boarding details, including start date, drug screen information, physical logistics (where applicable) and more.
