Why You Should Apply For This Job: 

Manage, plan, direct, and execute projects required in line with concentrating division requirements to comply with the long-term mine development plan. Support the Concentrating Division with technical analysis and project management support for future capital projects to support the new underground ores from GBC, KL, and DMLZ.

Additional Responsibilities:

1.            Manage the conduction of expansion project analysis to ensure division input and site control over mill expansion projects and circuit changes to accommodate future ore processing.

2.            Respond to needs of department Managers/Division VP and provide technical support as required on projects for the division in order to give the right data and information.

3.            Create and manage a portfolio of AFE projects and budgets, with full responsibility and authority over said projects to comply with division's budget.

4.            Create and manage the long-term capital projects budget for the division in order to have a good understanding of spending budget.

5.            Liaison with Corporate Strategic Planning group to ensure long-term plans have site input and ownership.

6.            Liaison with other site departments to ensure Concentrating needs are met on projects which interface across divisional boundaries.

7.            Liaison with the CSE and CS groups to ensure that Concentrating projects are handled in a manner which brings projects to completion on time and under budget.

8.            Identify project timelines and execution plans to minimize production impacts and maximize revenue for the company.

9.            Create, implement, improve, and maintain project controls and execution models to ensure projects are handled in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

10.          Build a team to implement the project management best practices on all concentrating projects, in order to make sure projects are executed in timely and safely manner.

11.          Analyze projects through post-mortem and delta puls techniques on cost control, scheduling, planning and construction in order to provide data to department for project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or higher degree in Engineering or related field with an excess of ten (10) years of experience in Project Management with an emphasis on milling or similar operations.
  • Project Management experience and background sufficient to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to liaison across multiple divisions/departments to execute projects in a challenging environment.
  • Logistics comprehension and management.
  • Understanding of mineral processing business drivers, and their relationship to current and future ore processing.
  • Ability to interpret long-term mine plans and their relationship to current and future processing equipment requirements.
  • Ability to supervise human resources and provide guidance on personnel management.
  • Ability to manage long-term and short-term projects.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Good computer skill.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Highly proactive and achievement oriented.
  • Highly focused toward satisfying customer requirements.
