Description
Assist in all work related to the determination and reporting of ore reserves and mineralized material company wide. Assist in organization of annual technical conference. Assist in economic analysis of projects.
- Request, receive and review data on ore reserves, mineralized material and value beyond proven and probable (VBPP) from all sites and consolidate into one database. Maintain and monitor consolidation database. Assist in gaining final approval of ore reserves. Prepare consolidation reports. Prepare and review ore reserves and mineralized material sections of the annual 10-k report and communicate results to central mine planning management.
- Review LOM (Life Of Mine) plans with respect to engineering, cost and geology assumptions.
- Provide cost forecasts (L-6) for use in determining ore reserves, including development of costs, collaboration with mine site personnel and receiving approval from mine site senior management.
- Manage SOX controls, including coordination of external auditors regarding testing of SOX controls and achieving a status of no deficiencies once testing is complete.
- Confirm receipt of annual ore reserve reports from mine sites.
- Oversee preparatin of quarterly metals production plans and forecast summaries.
- Assist in the management of the annual technical conference.
- Prepare and coordinate economic analysis of projects.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Science or Mining Engineering and three (3) years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data management and business analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Power Query
- Basic understanding of SAP
Criteria/Conditions:
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
