Our Miami smelter and rod plant is nestled just 90 miles east of Phoenix. What You Will Do

You are responsible for maintaining Integrated Management System (IMS) processes and ensuring alignment with ISO regulatory requirements to minimize non-conformances and audit findings while supporting the institutionalization of IMS standards through process metrics and data analysis. You will maintain IMS processes and support process metrics and data analysis. In this role, write IMS policies and procedures that comply with ISO standards and maintain document and record control governance, including system records, change notices, approvals, and revisions. As the Senior ISO Management Systems Analyst, you support external audits by organizing evidence and coordinating with departments and serve as Lead Auditor for internal audits to evaluate system effectiveness, identify risks, and drive improvement initiatives. Manage corrective action processes and monitor progress to support issue resolution and continual improvement. You will maintain organizational awareness of management system requirements and provide leadership and staff guidance on ISO requirements, changes, and compliance expectations. Identify compliance risks and implement controls to mitigate them. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You Bring To Freeport

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least six (6) years of experience in quality/safety management systems or related in a mining, manufacturing or industrial environment.
    OR
  • Associate’s degree and at least eight (8) years of experience in quality/safety management systems or related in a mining, manufacturing or industrial environment.
    OR
  • High School diploma/GED and at least ten (10) years of experience in quality/safety management systems or related in a mining, manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO Management System standards (ISO 9001, 55001, 14001, 45001, etc.).
  • Understanding of corrective action and continuous improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in professional PC software such as Power BI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, training, team facilitation, and interpersonal skills with willingness to learn and work cross functionally.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively utilize and manage internal and external resources that are not under your direct control to drive process improvements.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record maintenance.
  • Ability to work with general office equipment and MS Office Suite software.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions and follow safe work practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IMS Auditor Certification.

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,500-$120,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
