What You Will Do

  • Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking, and peripheral equipment using established and defined procedures and processes. 
  • Perform preventative maintenance on voice and data communication systems and associated hardware maintaining accurate documentation. 
  • Actively participate in Safety and Environmental programs, ensure MIS policy compliance and site operational goals. 
  • Perform voice, network, and PC and basic wireless troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose infrastructure problems. 
  • Perform other duties as required. 

What You Bring To Freeport

  • Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. 
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in the installation, repair and maintenance of PC hardware, software, printers, fax machines and telephone handsets. 
  • Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with computers, peripherals, cellular and voice systems. 
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technology including wireless networking equipment 
  • Basic knowledge of voice systems (PBX/VoIP) 
  • Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates. 
  • Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational skills. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. 
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • A+ Certification 
  • Network+ Certification 

What We Offer You  

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $26.00-36.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
