Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description
Under general supervision, provides administrative support to the Morenci Recreation Center management and staff.
- Provide marketing initiatives and logistics support for Recreation Center events as needed
- Develop and coordinate internal staff and member program communications, such as morencitown.com, website management, Facebook page, etc.
- Assist in trending and reporting activities as requested including generating and analyzing reports in regards to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Morenci Recreation Center
- Interpret established policy and provide information for the resolution of problems and coordinate compliance training requirements
- Assist with the purchasing of program and facility supplies within the planned budget
- Coordinate and prepare a wide variety of financial and operational reports including the collection and presentation of budget data
- Maintain agreements with vendors including contract management, building services, and facility management
- May act as Supervisor to include managing the facility while the Supervisor Recreation Center is out
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a Business/Office Manager role
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrate an aptitude for computer skills including Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, website management software, and social media
Preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field
- Prior experience with: SAP, CAS, ORAS, Contract Management, Rec Trac
Criteria/Conditions
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $24.00 - $32.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
