Description

Responsible for ensuring that all Motel rooms are cleaned and organized.

 

  • Vacuum rooms
  • Change and wash sheets
  • Dust all rooms:  TV's, dressers, nightstands, and window sills
  • Scrub toilets and showers
  • Keep station clean and organized
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Zero to twelve (0-12) months previous related experience
  • Must have basic cleaning and organizational skills
  • Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, and apply verbal and written instructions and procedures
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently with minimum supervision

 

Preferred

  • High School diploma or GED

 

Criteria/Conditions

  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • These responsibilities require the ability to walk for extended periods of time and use hand tools
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, lift up to forty (40) pounds, bend, twist, and stoop on a frequent basis
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Ability to work in all types of environments to include noise, dust, heat
  • Willing and able to work a 12-hour shift schedule or other shift as assigned
  • Ability to share job responsibilities and be flexible with work schedule and start times
  • Ability to participate in a high performing team environment
  • Ability to communicate and interact with other teams
