Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description
Responsible for the entire business performance of the establishment. Under general supervision, supervises, coordinates and controls the safe and efficient operation of the Coffee Shop.
- Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff for Coffee Shop, including creating and maintaining the staff schedule and tracking of absences
- Recruit and hire new staff as required
- Provide leadership and training to ensure performance objectives are met
- Assume responsibility for the day to day operation of the Coffee Shop to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Set annual budget, monitor expenditures, control costs and maintain accurate records of inventory
- Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety
- Investigate and resolve food quality issues and service complaints
- Prepare end-of-day reports and ensure that all cashiers are balanced, as well as other reports and evaluation methods
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED/equivalent and three (3) years of experience in Retail or Food and Beverage (front of house), including at least one (1) year of customer service experience and supervisory or lead experience
- Current Food Handlers Certification
- Knowledge of current trends in Coffee industry
- Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing practices
- Knowledge and ability to supervise employees
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to maintain positive community and working relationships
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
- Competency in the use of MS Office Software
Preferred
- able to obtain barista, daily operations and manager certification within 6 months
Criteria/Conditions
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Work is mostly performed in an indoor setting
- Occasionally work may be performed in a plant or outdoor setting
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to thirty (30) pounds during the course of the workday
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

- What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $48,400-$72,300. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
