Support related parties by monitoring, reviewing and analyzing assigned machinery and equipment repair and maintenance.  Provide advice and/or expertise for all relevant maintenance activities to ensure those activities are running correctly, achieving more reliable equipment, better availability and unit cost, and are conducted in an efficient, effective and timely manner.  Ensure these activities are in compliance with international standards for providing good equipment performance to support the company operation's goals and target.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct physical inspection of assigned equipment used by operation to ensure safety procedures are carried out.
  2. Conduct daily monitoring and controlling activities of assigned equipment to ensure the status of equipment is up to date.
  3. Provide technical instructional support to national staff and non-staff for relevant maintenance activities and provide guidance to ensure all works comply with international standards, are completed in a safe manner, within budget, and on schedule.
  4. Recommend and set the work conditions in the field, to implement the standard operational procedure accordingly.
  5. Provide recommendations or innovative solutions for any problem and assist in the implementation of approval solution to solve the problem in the field.
  6. Conduct and analyze a fault diagnostic for all repairs and maintenance activities, and develop systems, improvement, and/or process on predictive maintenance programs, and align it with On-the-Job Training, to provide proper and continuous handling of machinery problems, as well as to ensure the application of preventive maintenance.
  7. Working together with the General Foreman in the shop, review weekly maintenance plan, (i.e., schedules, machinery usage and repairs and maintenance backlogs and manning issues), in order that proper maintenance practices are carried out.
  8. Train, develop, coach, and motivate mechanics to enhance their skill, knowledge, and capability to an acceptable high standard and develop a written program to transfer knowledge and technology to national employees to improve their capabilities.
  9. Provide expertise on developing any required facilities (e.g., fuel station, truck wash bay, shop support, etc.) to ensure its compliance with standards.
  10. Present professional advice and recommendations in leadership and/or supervisory role (i.e. manpower management, work arrangement, job assignment) to promote supervisory skill of national staff.
  11. Implement safety standards and procedures within work area to minimize accident and damage.

Qualifications

  • Trade certification (or equivalent) with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in maintenance.
  • Business knowledge through previous experience in leadership roles.
  • Experience with remote monitoring technologies.
  • Experience with OSI PI.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution.
  • Business background with experience in maintenance, repairs, and planning.
  • Computer literacy with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SAP.
  • Ability to analyze raw data and determine problem areas that need attention.
  • Proven expertise in Rockwell Automation ecosystem: Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk, VFDs (PowerFlex), PanelView, industrial Ethernet and cybersecurity in OT environment.
  • Experience in bulk material handling systems with complex interlocks and sequencing logic.
  • Proficient in programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, Function block logic and structured text), networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, Modbus, Ethernet/IP), and control system software (Rockwell Automation would be a must, others such as Siemens would be an advantage).
  • Familiarity with safety PLCs (GuardLogix) and process control standards (ISA, IEC 61131).
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Managerial and leadership skills.
  • Business communication skills (written and oral).
