We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert to fulfill a pivotal role in supporting the operational and administrative needs of our Mill and Processing Operations team. This individual will possess a unique blend of expertise in systems management, processing plant operations, and associated critical processes, enabling them to effectively navigate the complexities of our ore processing and concentrator environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Operational Support:

Provide comprehensive support to the Mill & Processing Operations team, ensuring seamless execution of operational activities. This includes troubleshooting technical and materials-related issues, optimizing processes, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity of the processing facilities.


2. Administrative Oversight:

Manage administrative tasks related to Mill & Processing Operations, including resource coordination, budgeting input, contractor and material tracking, and documentation. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and operational protocols.


3. Systems Management:

Utilize advanced technical knowledge to oversee the implementation and maintenance of Global Supply Chain–related systems, tools, and processes crucial to Mill & Processing Operations. Collaborate with operational and GSC specialists to address system challenges and optimize performance across warehousing, planning, and materials management.


4. Liaison with Global Supply Chain:

Serve as the primary liaison between the Mill & Processing Operations team and the Global Supply Chain Department. Coordinate procurement, logistics, (rotables) repairables, and inventory management activities to support operational objectives and reduce downtime. Oversee tracking and alignment of sourcing and contracting requirements with operational priorities.

 

5. Strategic Collaboration:

Work closely with senior management within the Mill & Processing Operations team to develop and implement strategic initiatives focused on improving material availability, operational reliability, cost efficiencies, and alignment with broader organizational goals.


6. Reporting and Analysis:

Generate regular reports on key performance metrics related to materials and supply performance for processing operations. Provide insightful analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Present findings to senior management and contribute to data-driven decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or related field).
  • Ten (10) years’ experience in the maintenance of major mining equipment and/or operations of processing and concentrator plants, with in-depth knowledge of ore processing systems, critical equipment, and industry-standard maintenance practices.
  • Proven track record of success in systems implementation and operational support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex operational and supply chain data.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management principles and practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diversified workforce.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Concern for safety and environmental.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) and willing to learn Bahasa.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees such as a master’s degree.
