Title:  Technical Expert - GSC Underground Mine Operations Support

Support the operational and administrative needs of our underground mine team development. This individual will possess a unique blend of expertise in systems management, underground works, and processes, enabling them to effectively navigate the complexities of our underground operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Operational Support: Provide comprehensive support to the underground mine team, ensuring seamless execution of operational activities. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing processes, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
2. Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative tasks related to underground operations, such as resource allocation, budgeting, and documentation. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and protocols.
3. Systems Management: Utilize advanced technical knowledge to oversee the implementation and maintenance of Global Supply Chain related systems and processes crucial to the underground mine operations. Collaborate with specialists to address system/tools-related challenges and optimize performance.
4. Liaison with Global Supply Chain: Serve as the primary liaison between the underground team and the Global Supply Chain Department. Coordinate procurement, logistics, and inventory management activities to support operational objectives. Oversee and track all aspects related to warehousing, sourcing, and contracting.
5. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior management within the underground team to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving overall performance and achieving organizational goals.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key performance metrics and provide insightful analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Present findings to senior management and contribute to decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field with a minimum of (5) five years’ experience in underground mining operations.
• Extensive experience in underground mining operations, with a strong understanding of technical processes and equipment.
• Proven track record of success in systems management and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Management principles and practices is advantageous.
