Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you’ll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

What You Will Do

Provide reliable operational support for assigned enterprise applications through monitoring, documentation, incident resolution, and change activities while developing technical and operational expertise and maintaining service quality.

  • Analyze day-to-day monitoring and ensure operational support for assigned applications, maintaining stability and performance.
  • Create, update, and maintain application documentation and CMDB records with accurate configuration and operational details.
  •  Administer and execute approved application changes, patches, and vendor updates while coordinating and documenting outcomes.
  • Execute Tier 3 support and contribute to root cause analysis through data gathering and issue reproduction.
  • Define security, access, exception handling, and disaster recovery requirements and support compliance activities.
  • Analyze and improve monitoring and alerting, tuning thresholds and implementing basic automation or runbooks.
  • Partner with BSD and business stakeholders to understand service needs and route requests.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

What You Bring To Freeport

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or mining related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of experience in Engineering, System Administration or Technology Support role, including an understanding of data concepts and usage

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a mining-related Engineering discipline and five (5) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Administration or Technology Support role, including an understanding of data concepts and usage

OR

  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a mining-related Engineering discipline and seven (7) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Administration or Technology Support role, including an understanding of data concepts and usage

OR

  • High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience in general information technology, software troubleshooting, computer systems maintenance and application support, including an understanding of data concepts and usage
  • Must be customer service-oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled in effective verbal and written communication.

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $97,500-$138,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
