Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. Employees working on a flexible schedule collaborate online and in-person at our Collaboration Hub at the Cotton Center in Phoenix. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. What You Will Do
You will be responsible for working with senior business leaders on the portfolio management lifecycle—from ideation through deployment—partnering to prioritize and deliver business-facing initiatives involving MIS while ensuring on-time, on-scope, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes. By driving execution discipline, delivery governance, and value realization, this role ensures MIS delivers business value efficiently and at scale and requires a senior delivery leader capable of strong stakeholder partnership and operational execution.
- Leads portfolio prioritization and delivery governance for business-facing projects, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk management, methodology adherence, and accountability for value realization across assigned portfolios.
- Engages senior business and MIS leaders to align expectations, drive transparent prioritization and trade-off decisions, maintain an enterprise-wide view of delivery, and ensure consistent performance dashboards, KPIs, and accurate status reporting.
- Defines and implements the global engagement and delivery model, establishing and improving frameworks, tools, and templates while ensuring consistent application of best practices across estimation, value definition, testing, and release management.
- Builds delivery maturity through lessons learned, coaching, enablement, and support of professional development across project and program management roles.
What You Bring To Freeport
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, AND twelve (12) years of experience in information services, process technology, or project management/leadership on large system implementations or large operations projects OR
Master’s degree and ten (10) years of experience in information services, process technology, or project management on medium to large system implementations or large operations projects
Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies and governance practices
Experience managing portfolios, performance reporting, and value realization
Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Professional delivery certification (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Agile)
Experience in multi-vendor delivery environments
Experience enhancing delivery governance or PMO capabilities
Familiarity with enterprise delivery and portfolio tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Clarity, Planview)
Some experience in delivery risk management and benefits realization tracking
Understanding of financial governance, forecasting, and resource management
Proficiency in Spanish is useful when working with South American and Spanish operations

Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
