Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning and more. This position requires work to be performed in-person at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix. The Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.

What You Will Do
As a Ld Supervisor IROC – RAMP, you’ll lead maintenance technology efforts across North America. You’ll oversee RAMP operations, implement predictive maintenance strategies, and integrate advanced monitoring technologies to boost equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role also drives cross-site collaboration to align data-driven solutions and best practices.
- Lead the Remote Asset Monitoring Process (RAMP) to ensure proactive equipment maintenance and performance tracking.
- Collaborate across North American mine sites to align maintenance strategies and drive operational goals.
- Train and supervise maintenance teams (including RAMP employees) on new technologies and best practices.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of predictive maintenance tools and automated monitoring systems.
- Partner with reliability engineers to analyze failure data and eliminate recurring issues.
- Review equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Report maintenance performance and technology outcomes to senior leadership.
What You Bring To Freeport
- High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of progressive experience in manufacturing, industrial, etc. maintenance and/or operations, including two (2) years in a supervisory or lead capacity OR
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or a related field and three (3) years of progressive experience in manufacturing, industrial, etc. maintenance and/or operations including two (2) years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Deep knowledge of Remote Asset Monitoring Process (RAMP), including architecture, data integration, and performance optimization
- Advanced proficiency in SAP PM and related modules, with experience in workflow customization and third-party tool integration
- Proven success in deploying predictive maintenance technologies such as IoT sensor networks, machine learning-based failure prediction, and real-time analytics
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives across large, complex operations
- Strong background in managing cross-functional maintenance and RAMP teams across remote or international sites
- Strategic leadership with experience in budget oversight, KPI development, and operational planning
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
- Adaptability in fast-paced, high-risk environments
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for emerging technologies like AI, robotics, and autonomous systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to align teams and drive innovation
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $85,000-$116,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
