Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you’ll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

What You Will Do
You manage all contracts for assigned capital projects from conception through execution and completion and are responsible for post‑contract administration and management of all contract matters relating to the obligations and duties of both parties. You analyze all contracts to identify requirements, deliverables, and areas of risk and make recommendations to Project Managers while monitoring and supporting remedial actions. You engage Project Managers and Project Procurement Managers to ensure project development plans, requisitions, contracts and payment systems align with established policies and manage contract services with project management teams and external contractors or suppliers to develop workable terms that protect the company within necessary time constraints. In this role you develop mechanisms to monitor compliance with contract terms. You supervise and guide project team members to ensure technical competence and consistency of administration across several contract packages and to ensure that customer-related actions or inactions which could result in constructive contract changes are identified and make recommendations on their resolution. You will manage procedures to identify and resolve contract claims as they develop and manage the timely resolution under the changes’ provisions wherever possible, obtaining claims and legal expertise as appropriate. As a manager of contracts, you maintain strong working relationships across functional groups and provide Project Managers with reviews and analysis of contract commitment data and payments position and assists Project Controls in the development and maintenance of overall cost management. You manage contract insurance provisions and implementation of all requirements while completing risk analysis for any changes to these provisions and managing these risks through contracting strategy, tracking and reporting, develop processes to ensure the Project Management team adheres to all requirements of good corporate governance. You take early actions to correct any deviations from good governance practices, mitigate risk for future incidences, and manage contractor reporting and provide contract management expertise.
What You Bring To Freeport
- High School diploma or GED AND fourteen (14) years experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering AND ten (10) years experience in Supply Chain or the related fields of Business, Accounting, or Engineering
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $110,000-$155,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
