Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits. 

Description

Coordinate project procurement activity with individual Project Managers and their procurement leads within the Engineering organization. Assist teams with contract development, negotiations with contractors, and expediting deliveries.

  • Engage Project Managers and Project Procurement Managers to ensure project development plans, requisitions, contracts and payment systems are implemented in accordance with the company’s established policies, procedures and business practices.
  • Communicate procurement needs to Engineering management and Global Supply Chain to ensure timely and adequate support for project management team.
  • Manage procurement services with project management teams and external contractors or suppliers to develop workable contracts that provide maximum protection for the company within necessary time constraints.
  • Develop tracking controls systems to ensure efficient execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Chain leads to ensure that we source from reputable suppliers and take advantage of negotiated volume discounts.
  • Consult with Director Project Contracts to develop contracting procedures and processes that assure clarity in contract language.
  • Develop functional understanding of various mine development sites, mine project leads, local law and individual site contracting needs
  • Works on complex issues and implements solutions mostly through the determination of strategy and delegation to others in a group or functional area.
  • Often collaborates with managers and/or functional or site leaders and has some interaction with external colleagues.
  • Works under limited supervision and has significant latitude to set objectives, priorities and timelines that may impact a group or functional area within the company.
  • Prepares budget for review by others by pulling all components together and making recommendations.
  • Manages supervisors or mid-level professional individual contributors.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years experience in inventory management, systems & project management and analysis projects required , OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and ten (10) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required, OR
  • Master’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and eight (8) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required.

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $126,500-$177,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance.  Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.  Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements.  More details will be shared during the hiring process. Click here to view a sample of Total Rewards Estimate for this role.
