Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits. 

Description

Manage corporate real estate assets to ensure security of title, compliance with the law and in conformance with company policies and procedures.

 

  • Direct and assist staff in the development and implementation of strategic plans for property management, development of comprehensive property
  • Lead resource teams in managing the acquisition and disposal process for real estate transactions in conformance with company procedures and policies
  • Oversee activities of outside legal counsel in the preparation of legal documents related to the sale, acquisition and leasing of real estate assets
  • Direct and assist staff in compliance issues related to quarterly CEO/CFO representations in regard to real estate matters
  • Formulate strategies to maximize value of real estate assets
  • Advise and assist corporate and operations staff with real estate and mining claim matters
  • Effectively coach and mentor department employees; Proactively support employee involvement and development; Counsel employees on performance standards; Complete and administer accurate and timely performance reviews

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and fifteen (15) years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Geology, Real Estate, or related field or equivalent experience, and eight (8) years of related experience.
  • Ability to formulate, review, present, approve, and to lead the activities of employees, consultants, contractors, other groups and projects, both internal and external to the company
  • Ability to lead multiple and complex technical resource projects and teams
  • Ability to negotiate terms and conditions, to implement, and to manage multiple contracts and technical documents
  • Ability to develop and to manage budgets for multiple properties
  • Ability to make good decisions and enforce company policies in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures
  • Must be self-motivated and client service oriented; Must have the initiative to take responsibility to meet the customers requirements
  • Must demonstrate appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have superior interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to work with general office equipment such as a personal computer and keyboard, facsimile machines and photocopier
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish languages

  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English  

  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Position is in busy, non-smoking office located in downtown Phoenix, AZ
  • Location requires mobility in an office environment; each floor is accessible by elevator
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds

What We Offer You 

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $126,500-$177,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance.  Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.  Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements.  More details will be shared during the hiring process. Click here to view a sample of Total Rewards Estimate for this role.
