Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you’ll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

What You Will Do
We are seeking a Project Manager – Talent & Training to lead and support a variety of talent and training management initiatives across the organization and will serve as a key partner to business leaders. This position will be accountable for driving the successful execution of projects, organizational change management and data analytics for the talent and training teams in alignment with companies’ priority initiatives.
- Collaborates closely with company leaders, initiative owners, and teams to solve problems, guide direction, and develop Talent and Training project plans. Identifies projects aligned with the vision of the talent and training teams to deliver business results that support the company's priority initiatives.
- Leverages Azure DevOps to oversee project progress, maintain comprehensive task tracking, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Collaborates with the Talent and Training teams to prepare, track, and report on all training and project budgets and timelines.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure successful adoption of initiatives.
- Leads, develops, and implements change management strategies to support the rollout of new talent and training programs, tools, and processes.
- Leads the efforts to leverage data and analytics to inform project decisions, measure impact, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Effectively communicates the core message to any audience, ensuring that the talent and training objectives are consistently reflected in all formal and informal interactions and communications.
- Identifies and implements process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of talent and training management practices.
- Partners with external consultants or vendors as needed to support project delivery.
- Identifies opportunities to drive technology and innovation in talent and training programs.
What You Bring To Freeport
- High School diploma or GED AND twelve (12) years of experience in HR project management, talent and training management or organizational development; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field AND eight (8) years of experience in HR project management, talent and training management or organizational development; OR
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field AND six (6) years of experience in HR project management, talent and training management or organizational development.
- Strong understanding of talent and training management practices and frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization, including most senior executives. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong top-down communication skills with ability to deliver complex messages / trade-offs and tell a compelling story.
- Excellent problem solver with ability to lead the team to push for solutions and drive progress. Challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change – known as a change agent.
- Learns new skills quickly and knows how to navigate the organization to find experts in specific domain. Proficiency in Azure DevOps and HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors).
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the mining industry
- Willing and able to travel domestically up to 33%
- Reside in the Greater Phoenix area or willing to relocate (Relocation assistance is available contingent that certain criteria is met).
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $110,000-$155,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration. Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
