Where You Will Work
Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support our operations in finance, human resources, health and safety, information technology, planning, and more. Our flexible work program allows employees to work virtually as well as come together in person when needed at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. Employees can work remotely from most states in the U.S., with the exception of California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded from remote work based on business factors. Should the position shift to in-person (office/site) work in the future, the company will offer relocation benefits at that time, so long as the position meets the established eligibility for these benefits.
What You Will Do
The Senior Workforce Analyst plays a key role in shaping HR strategy by delivering data-driven insights across the employee lifecycle. This position leads the development of scalable analytics solutions, builds intuitive dashboards, and conducts advanced analyses to uncover workforce trends and opportunities. Using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, and Python, and integrating data from multiple HR systems via Snowflake, the analyst transforms complex data into clear, actionable intelligence. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to support evidence-based decision-making and drive continuous improvement in HR programs and processes.
- Design and maintain intuitive dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that support decision-making across recruiting, performance, engagement, and retention.
 - Use SQL and other data tools to extract, clean, and structure data from HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) to support reporting and analysis.
 - Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to define key metrics, build scalable data models, and deliver insights that inform workforce planning and talent strategy.
 - Develop and manage a centralized metrics library and documentation to ensure consistency and clarity in reporting across the organization.
 - Enable self-service reporting and data fluency across HR teams through training, documentation, and stakeholder support.
 - Conduct advanced analyses (e.g., predictive modeling, statistical evaluation) to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities in the workforce.
 
What You Bring To Freeport
- High School Diploma/GED and nine (9)+ years of increasingly responsible experience in HR data analysis or business metrics; OR
 - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field and five (5)+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR reporting, or business intelligence.
 - Proficiency in SQL, experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and experience with one of R or Python.
 - Familiarity with HR systems and the data structures found in SuccessFactors, Benefit Focus, Workforce Solutions or similar platforms.
 - Strong analytical and data storytelling skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
 - Experience with data modeling, governance, and building scalable reporting infrastructure.
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
 - Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or other advanced analytical techniques.
 - Interest in AI-driven analytics and automation to enhance productivity and capabilities.
 
What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $85,000-$116,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
